২. পাঠৰ সাৰাংশ (Lesson Summary)

English: In this lesson, Water narrates its own autobiography. Water has neither a fixed shape nor an inherent colour—it reflects the colours of its surroundings. It appears light blue in lakes and seas, sparkling silver in rushing streams, and glowing white, grey, orange, and gold in sunset clouds. Water is essential to human life—it fills school water bottles, keeps our bodies clean and healthy, irrigates crops, and brings life to nature. However, Water makes an earnest appeal: it dislikes being polluted with dirt and hates being wasted. It urges human beings to keep water bodies clean and conserve every single drop. The lesson also contrasts an autobiography (a story written about oneself, such as Water’s story or a pencil’s story) with a biography (a life story written by someone else, like Mother Teresa’s or Phuleswari Hazarika’s life story). Additionally, it teaches rainwater harvesting, steps of rice cultivation, and grammar concepts like Subject and Predicate and verb tenses.
